San Francisco-based Pioneer is an incubator that puts pre-seed/bootstrapped companies through a series of challenges to ready them for launch. The company was founded in 2018 by YC alum Daniel Gross. Pioneer’s monthly demo day is full of fledgling companies from around the world. This month, a fintech startup, Cash Coach, was one of seven featured.
Cash Coach
Founder Sam Abrika delivers a 2-minute pitch followed by five minutes of Q&A with a mentor/investor. Cash Coach (UK) was selected for the incubator in April 2020 and subsequently raised $315K (at a $2.5M pre-money valuation) on the UK crowdfunding Crowdcube.
